Description

Learn how to provide emotional and physical support to new and expectant parents during their most vulnerable moments when you take this Birth Doula course. A doula is a professional pregnancy companion who aims to help families have a safe and positive experience during the whole labour and postpartum months. Many parents find a doula’s involvement to be crucial to their well-being, and you can be taught the disciplines needed to take on this unique role.

As doulas provide advice and a continuous supportive role, without making medical decisions on behalf of their clients, they are much sought-after as advocates and mediators during pregnancy. You will therefore be taught all the educational requirements needed to identify and manage conditions associated with pregnancy.
