This course will explore the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS) in detail, covering key principles and legal responsibilities of service providers. You’ll learn how to assess mental capacity in individuals and broaden your understanding of the role of the court of protection in regards to DOLS.
If you’re currently working in the mental health care sector and want to learn more about MCA & DOLS, then this course is for you. Assessment

Upon completion of an online module, you will immediately be given access to a specifically crafted MCQ test. The results will be evaluated instantly, and the score displayed for your perusal. For each test, the pass mark will be set to 60%.However, if you fail, you can always retake the exam for £3.99.
