Veterinary Nursing Level 3
Overview
Veterinary nursing focuses on animal health and the study of diseases that affect all animal species. They are responsible for diagnosing, treatment, and research medical conditions and diseases of pets, livestock, and other animals.
This Veterinary Nursing Level 3 aims to establish a firm grasp of core competencies in veterinary medical sciences. It will teach the science and hands-on skills necessary for treating injured and diseased animals.
Through the course, you’ll start learning with the structure and functions of healthy animals before tackling the diseases that affect them, how to manage these and the surgical know-how needed to treat domestic, farm or zoo animals. You will receive knowledge and skills in tropical and rural veterinary settings, plus experience in tropical animal husbandry and aquaculture.
Please note: This course only gives you the theoretical knowledge that you need to excel in this field. This Veterinary Nursing Level 3 doesn’t entitle you to practise as a professional in this specific field.
