4. Parent and Family Involvement
IDEA recognises parents as equal partners in the educational process. Families have the right to participate fully in planning, decision-making, and reviewing their child’s IEP. This collaboration ensures that educational goals reflect both the child’s abilities and the family’s aspirations.
Federal and State Responsibilities
